        WILLIAM J. PINILIS, ESQ.

 

          Billy Pinilis is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.  He concentrates primarily on handling consumer claims, complex commercial, and class action litigation.

 

          Mr. Pinilis has served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall School of Law since 1995, where he currently teaches Consumer Law and New Jersey Practice.  He also regularly lectures with the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, where he has lectured on Consumer Law and the mandatory continuing legal education course Civil Trial Preparation.

 

          Mr. Pinilis was recently voted a “Super Lawyer”, and has appeared as a legal analyst and commentator on both CNBC and Court TV/TruTV.  Mr. Pinilis also appeared as a regular guest on the Troubleshooter Show – a nationally syndicated consumer advocacy radio talk show.

GABRIEL H. HALPERN, ESQ.


          Mr. Halpern is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.  He concentrates on complex commercial and personal injury litigation. Mr. Halpern has also served as litigation counsel for municipal government in all aspects of litigation.

          Mr. Halpern’s litigation experience includes cases involving real estate matters, including title disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes; personal injury and negligence cases; architect/engineer malpractice; construction defects; product liability; employment agreements (trade secret agreements and restrictive covenants); employment discrimination matters; UCC agreements (sale contracts, letters of credit, security agreements); insurance coverage matters; zoning and planning matters; lender liability matters; franchise agreements; brokerage commission disputes, environmental litigation and other commercial disputes.

JEFFREY S. MANDEL, ESQ.


 

          Mr. Mandel concentrates primarily on handling consumer claims, complex commercial litigation, and criminal defense.  He is a frequent legal commentator on TruTV (formerly Court TV) and has also appeared on CNN, Fox News Channel, and Sirius Satellite Radio.  Mr. Mandel is a former recipient of the Lawyer of the Year Award presented by the Young Lawyer’s Division of the New Jersey State Bar Association, former nominee for the Professional Achievement Award, and has been voted by his peers as a New Jersey Super Lawyer.

 

          Mr. Mandel is known in New Jersey for his appellate practice.  He is the author of New Jersey Appellate Practice, which is a comprehensive 900+ page treatise on New Jersey appellate practice and procedure published by Gann Law Books.  Mr. Mandel serves as an adjunct professor of law at Rutgers Law School- Newark, where he currently teaches Appellate Advocacy.  He formerly taught at Seton Hall School of Law and continues to serve as a guest lecturer.            Mr. Mandel serves on the State Bar Appellate Practice Committee, the Morris/Sussex Community Dispute Resolution Committee, and has been nominated by Governor Jon S. Corzine to the State of New Jersey Uniform Legislation/Law Revision Commission.
